Artemis Global Growth
Managed by Peter Saacke, the Artemis Global Growth, is a go-anywhere, unconstrained global equity fund. Saacke uses Artemis’ SmartGARP screening to identify stocks that are miss-priced; the quantitative SmartGARP is used across all of Artemis’ funds, but works particularly well for the global sector, where the sheer number of stocks requires a disciplined approach. Saacke, however, also employs his own stock selection skills on top of the quant process when building his portfolio.

Schroder Global Equity Income
This fund is managed by Sonja Schemmann, who’s managed Schroder’s global income funds since 2005 (although the UK domiciled fund was launched in 2007). The Global Equity Income Fund believes in challenging the assumption that is often made, namely, companies either pay high dividends or grow their business, not both. Schroders and Schemmann believe differently. The fund adopts an investment process whereby the investable universe is narrowed down to around 80 ‘best ideas’ stocks, which form the portfolio.
